On the evening of November 17, 2024, the Walailak University Student Union hosted the
WU Freshy Awards 2024 to select new student ambassadors who will represent the university’s image. Presided over by University President, Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, the event was met with great enthusiasm, filling the main auditorium in the Thaiburi building with supportive faculty, staff, and students. The competition provides a platform for students to confidently express themselves and develop their potential, aligning with the university’s policy of nurturing well-rounded graduates who are both “Good and Smart.”
