On May 11, 2025, the Division of Student Support and Development, in collaboration with the School of Multilingual Studies and General Education, hosted the “WU Pre-English Kickoff” event to welcome and inspire students as they begin their English learning journey at Walailak University.
The event was honored by the presence of Associate Professor Dr. Charan Boonkarn, Vice President, who delivered a warm welcome speech. Associate Professor Dr. Surin Maisrikrod, Vice President, along with a team of faculty members, provided valuable information on the importance of English language education at the university.
Associate Professor Dr. Urai Jareprapa and Assistant Professor Dr. Arthit Boonrodchu also joined the session to motivate students and share details about the university’s comprehensive student support system.
The event focused on raising awareness and understanding of English learning, while also introducing students to the wide range of support services available to them. To ensure meaningful engagement, students were divided into two groups to participate in morning and afternoon sessions respectively.
